The founder and executive director of ESDO, Dr. Muhammad Shahid Uz Zaman Capstone Fellow NDC Sir, delivered the opening speech as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of this 3-day workshop organized with the participation of fisheries officers from 32 partner organizations of the country.
The manager of the Rural Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), Mr. A. M. Farhaduzzaman and the deputy manager, Mr. Mehedi Hasan Osman, were present as special guests.
In the speech of the chief guest, Dr. Muhammad Shahid Uz Zaman said, it is possible to increase the economic capacity of small entrepreneurs in the country by developing sustainable fisheries-based small enterprises, increasing skills, formulating effective plans and ensuring good governance. He urged the participating officials to use the knowledge and experience gained at the field level to play a more effective role in the development of the fisheries sector and creating entrepreneurs. Senior officials of ESDO and concerned senior development workers were present at the workshop.
