ESDO Annual General Meeting-2026

On 26 June 2026, the Annual General Meeting-2026 of Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) was held at the Seminar Hall of ESDO Head Office located at Gobindanagar, Thakurgaon District

A visionary and forward-looking presentation on "Thakurgaon 50-Year Master Plan" was made by Dr. Muhammad Shahid Uz Zaman Capstone Fellow NDC Sir, Founder and Executive Director of Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) at the hall of Thakurgaon Municipality Office. In his presentation, he outlined a far-reaching plan to develop Thakurgaon as a Green, Smart, Climate-Resilient and Inclusive City for the next 50 years. It presents an integrated outline of eco-friendly infrastructure, renewable energy, modern urban management, climate resilience, water conservation, sustainable communication system, agro-based industrialization, employment, education, health, culture and citizen participation-based development. He mentioned that “A successful master plan is not just a plan to construct buildings or roads; it is a long-term commitment to improve the quality of life of people, preserve the environment and build a livable, sustainable and prosperous city for the coming generations.” The Thakurgaon Municipal Administrator, senior officials of the municipality, and high-ranking officials of various government departments of Thakurgaon district were present at the meeting
